How to Use Waka
The complete guide to random video chat and private meeting rooms. No sign-up required — just open and start.
Random Video Chat
Meet random people from around the world with one click. Like Omegle, but modern.
Click "Start" on the home page
Visit withwaka.xyz and click the green Start button. Your browser will ask for camera and microphone permission — allow it.

Once your camera is on, you'll see a loading animation while we find someone for you. This usually takes just a few seconds.

Chat with your match
When matched, you'll see the other person's video full-screen with your camera in a small window. Use the controls at the bottom:

If someone disconnects
When the other person leaves, you'll see a brief "The other person left" notice. After 2 seconds, you're automatically placed back in the queue to find someone new.

Meeting Rooms
Create a private room and invite friends via a shareable link. Up to 6 people can join.
Create a room
On the home page, click Create Room. A unique room link is generated instantly — no sign-up needed.
Preview your camera and join
You'll see a camera preview before entering the room. Click Start to join.

Share the link
Once in the room, click Copy Link in the top bar. The copied text includes an invite message with the room URL. Send it to anyone you want to join.

No. Waka works instantly — no sign-up, no email, no phone number required.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free. No premium plans or hidden fees.
Is my video recorded?
No. All video and audio is transmitted directly between users (peer-to-peer). We never record, store, or monitor your conversations.
Can I use it on mobile?
Yes. Waka works on any modern mobile browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox). No app download needed.
How many people can join a room?
Meeting rooms support up to 6 participants with good quality. Performance depends on your device and network.
Can others see my IP address?
WebRTC peer-to-peer connections may expose your IP to the other participant. Use a VPN if privacy is a concern.
What's the minimum age?
You must be at least 18 years old to use Waka.
